Shuo Wang
Shuo Wang is a distinguished Chinese tenor and a DMA candidate at the University of Florida. He has studied under James Morris and Christopher Pfund. Trained at prestigious institutions like the Manhattan School of Music and the Sichuan Conservatory of Music. His stage credits include roles such as "Die Zauberflöte" as Tamino, "La Scala di Seta" as Dorvil, "L'incoronazione di Poppea" as Nerone, "Così fan tutte" as Ferrando, "Orpheus in the Underworld" as Orpheus. "Gianni Schicchi" as Rinuccio, "Dido and Aeneas" as Aeneas, and "Die Fledermaus" as Alfred. Shuo has received honors in several competitions, including first prize from the Vivaldi Voice Competition in Italy, second place from the 11th National Opera Vocal Competition in China, and a grant winner from Career Bridges in New York City. His dedication to musical excellence is evident in his ongoing training, performances and academic pursuits in music.
